As It Is have announced that drummer Patrick Foley has left the band to pursue a new career as a firefighter.
The announcement came in the form of a video call between the band members, where Foley told them how things are going and also says it’s the one thing he’s always wanted to do apart from playing the drums.

Alongside the video call, the band released the following short statement:
“Our brother and friend @foley_as_it_is has decided to step back from As It Is, to pursue a brand new career as a fire fighter. We could not be more proud of him (and are keeping him on speed dial from when we next use pyro in a live show). All love, Patty, Ali, Ronnie x”
In case you didn’t know, Foley has been with As It Is from the very beginning. Essentially, that means you would have heard him play on the band’s three albums.
