The graves of Pantera’s “Dimebag” Darrell Abbott and Vinnie Paul Abbott are now enclosed by a protective fence. For those that don’t know, The Abbott brothers’ graves are side by side.
The grave of their mother, Carolyn Abbott, is also within the fence. Reasons for the fence’s erection have not been disclosed publicly, however it’s fair to assume it’s to prevent vandalism.
As you may remember, Darrell’s grave was desecrated by former Nuclear Hellfrost vocalist Reece Eber in 2015.

Dimebag was murdered on stage in 2004 whilst playing a show with his and his brother’s band, Damageplan. You can find out more about Darrell’s untimely demise here.
Vinnie Paul died in 2018 as the result of a heart attack.
