As I Lay Dying vocalist Tim Lambesis revealed last week that he had suffered burns to 25% of his body following a bonfire accident.
Lambesis officially revealed the news seven days ago, 16th December, stating on that day he was set to undergo surgery to remove the remaining dead skin from the burns he suffered. The As I Lay Dying vocalist had been in hospital for several days at this point.
In an update posted yesterday, Lambesis revealed that he now expects to make a “full recovery” and described the injuries he suffered as “the most painful experience of my life.”

“The recovery from these burns has been the most painful experience of my life, but I’m told I will eventually have a full recovery. I have to remember that on the tough days and be grateful I have the chance to be back to doing what I love again soon, because that is not the case for everyone in the burn center.”
