Dream State have returned with a brand new track. The band have released the video for their new single ‘Monsters’. Watch below:
Here’s what vocalist CJ Gilpin had to say about ‘Monsters’:
“‘Monsters’ is an expression of the inner goddess in me and in about the acceptance of my messy, chaotic energy; the owning and surrendering to who & what I am. It’s an awakening and I am saying, ‘I am okay with who I am and I will not be misled anymore’. It has taken lifetimes to get here.”
The track is the first new music we’ve had from the band since the release of their 2019 debut album ‘Primrose Path’. Dream State are currently working on a new EP due for release early next year.
The band have announced the amicable departure of drummer Jamie Lee, who has decided to step away from band life. Dream State will be announcing a permanent replacement in due course.
FYI: ‘Monsters’ had its first play on Radio 1 last night.
